I should have run to the hills when I read these reviews but I didn't. Management is changing again to another rude manager. No one will give me the number to the company that owes this property. There is black mold in the walls and the maintence guy is nice but can't fix anything more than half assed. The new manager believes all the idiot things the old manager says. So she thinks we are all lying trash and treats each resident accordingly. But I give her a year before she leaves or gets fired as well. Do not move here. They take people with credit problems but they treat you like garbage.

    DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! X10 RENAMED KEYSTONE TOWNHOMES I have lived here for 2 yrs and it has been one heartache after another. NOTHING has changed with the new ownership. The renovations are not worth what they ask in rent. The drugs are VERY close by & there are constant police calls. However if this does not justify the warning you can expect a townhome with sloping floors, electrical problems, at least a 10° difference between your top and bottom floors all year round, electricity bills through the roof, Windows and walls paper thin, maintenance issues that take months to be fixed or addressed, a horrible time getting ahold of anyone and notices left at your door if any, for the right to enter your home. This is my effort to keep others from the same terrible experience I have endured. Best of luck apartment hunting.

      I lived at Hampton place for 12 months and just recently moved out. The previous owners did not care about the residents at all. They always wanted to get money for bogus fines and over charged for water usage, maint. was always an issue and it took forever to get things fixed. The new owners are amazing! They are trying hard to make the property look amazing. The manager Karl is very nice. Even though I was already planning on moving he was very professional. They installed a new A/C a few days before I moved out and if that would of happened a month earlier I would have stayed another year. I'm excited for the future of the property and it's residents!

        New owners, new management, new name...KeyStone TownHomes. So they come in to our unit to inspect,and because it's time for repairs. So they swapped my AC unit on Monday and on Tuesday, I woke up and there was a water stain where there shouldn't have been. So I reported it to the Manager. He calls the AC guys they come out, and then Wednesday they come back, and Thursday. Friday morning I wake up and the spot that has been steadily growing the past couple of days is now dripping on my bed. I flipped my mattress out of the way, shut the air conditioner off, Hoped that the AC contractors would get here to fix it and headed to class. Well I got home later and that hadn't happened. I later went to management and expressed how I felt, which at certain points I'll admit, I might have came off as a little rude, but I made it a point to express that I was not mad with him, but more of this helpless situation.           RUN!!! Don't walk, RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! This place is completely run down. Drug dealers and prostitutes hanging out late at night, people drinking, gambling and throwing dice outside their apartments huddled in groups. Chock full of section 8 and "Catrina transplants". The property is tied up in bankruptcy, so maintenance is completely NON-EXISTENT and the rentals are in extremely poor condition. I'm talking water bills in excess of $175 a month for a family of TWO. I'm also asking you to speak to some of the current tenants to see about how much their electric bills normally run. Mine ran in excess of $400 per month - EVERY SINGLE MONTH. The A/C units are all in the neighborhood of 25 years old. The ductwork in the attics are so deteriorated and in such poor condition that there are holes throughout that are so large and so many that they cannot be patched or fixed.             Still horrible. Management is horrible. Drug infested and pest infested. totally decieved thought it was a nice quiet place. even if u bring up issues to management they wont do anything. Maintence is bad also. They also tried to charge us for 300 water bill which was wrong and we had to fight for them to fix. paula the manger also will try to squeeze money out of you constanstly how ever she can.

              If I could rate this place a zero I would.

              So I was there for a year and I was itching to move out looong before my lease was up. Ray is insane. He hates every single tenant. He talks to you like you are stupid and he lets the worse people live next door to you. If there is a problem with your place he is sure as heck going to make you pay for it even if it wasnt your fault. He goes in your place weekly and gets pissed if you wont let him in. that crap hole needs to be shut down and the sooner the better. Only move there if you want a super high water bill, an overly evasive landlord, an idiot for a maintenance man, a terrible electricity bill and a horrible year of your life. I moved out months ago but I noticed that no one has posted a review in sometime, which is strange because all of my neighbors were disgruntled, and I didnt want anyone to think that the place has gotten any better because it hasnt.                 Evil at it's finest....WARNING!!!!!!!!!!

                This is the absolute worst place I have EVER lived!! I only wish I had read these reviews sooner....I have lived here for around 4 months, but the problems started on day one with the lock on my front door not working properly...I have had to have the problem "fixed" 6 times now, if you want to call putting another non-working set of locks on the door fixing the problem...half the time I haven't even been able to lock my front door when I leave...the stains in the carpet started coming back up on the third day I was there and smell awfull, rays solution to this was for me to rent a shampooer and do it myself!! And then theres the water leak that happened in my downstairs ceiling..ray had a "maintenance" guy cut a hole in my ceiling and it has never been totally fixed...my air conditioner is a huge joke...my bill is outrageous!! I went into the attic myself and ALL of the ducts need replacing as they have HOLES in them!!! And some of the ducts weren't even connected!!                   This place is a joke. Ray does give out fake fines. The water bill is submetered and from a document a friend showed me at the City of Tomball, RAY IS OVERCHARGING people for water and stating illegally on the invoice that the rates charged are per the City of Tomball. Ray uses ridiculous excuses to go into your apartment when you are not home to see what he can fine you for. The flooding situation was about the biggest joke ever and his answer to the issue was to sprinkle carpet freshener all over. The mold is horrible. The roaches from the flood are awful and you cannot turn on the kitchen light without seeing a million scamper across the floor. The appliances are cheap and old and not efficient. The A/C unit......hahahaha. The plumbing is amazing......maybe the reason the water bill is so high is because the plumbing is so bad that the old toilets will run and run and run without your knowing.                     RAY IS A SCAM ARTIST!

                    The manager, RAY, is a complete scam artist! The townhouses flooded and the walls inside molded. He wanted to charge the tenants for the mold and didn't want to do anything about the carpet because he said, and I quote, "I don't want to pay the deducatable for insurance." He is extremely rude and wants to bully people over his horrible, old, run-down townhouses. The ac has to be put on 85 degrees or the energy company will charge you a $500 bill because Ray doesn't want to replace the units. They are so old that they do not cool down the townhouse and at 85 degrees, you have to buy fans just to stay cool in your own townhouse! I purchased a mold kit and the walls downstairs and in the pantry tested positive. I told him we were coughing and bleeding from our noses. So he brings someone, not a company, but free lance -------- he pays to help him to clean the carpet. He did nothing for the walls or the roaches.                       This place is not good in anyway except if one would be desperate for a roof over head. There are many problems. Refrigerators are old and use alot of power. They are not energy efficiant. A/C thermastats are old and not efficiant. On a general basis these apartments are to say the least kept up to the very least amount required by law. Possibly not even to law requirements. Maintenence is lousy I would say no one here really knows what they are doing. They do extreme shoddy work. They try to pass it off as complete and do not like beig told that the tightening they just did to a leaking water fixture did not stop a leak and perhaps a new part is required. In my opinion the legal citizenship of these employees should be checked. They for sure are not certified maintenence providers.<br>The management is rude to say the least and surely as management is the leader in sloppy,shoddy upkeep and overall quality or lack of in this complex.<br><br>These apartments are dirty when moved into.                         It's OKAY...but....

                        It's okay, but we want out of our lease BADLY. Management is "by-the-book" and can come across as very rude at times. Parking is horrible because there aren't enough spaces for each car. Sometimes parking on the street is required due to someone parking in your space. Little children run around freely, scraping the side of your car, leaving food and litter on your porch, and screaming as loud as they can during hours where other tenants rest. We are told to keep our AC on a high temp. Later we found out this is because if we keep it in the 70s like most people do, we end up with a $500 bill! Old townhomes with poor insulation and work done on them = high bills, extra fans purchased at our own expense, and frustration. Management charges you for every small thing under the sun where as other apartment places do not. It's as if this place is hard-up for money and want to suck it out of everyone.                           TERRIBLE!

                          This is a terrible place to live. The management is terrible. It's bad. I would't recommend anyone to live here. The property manager sues everyone for "excessive damages" when they move out... He will sue for more if you have pets. Get a good lawyer if you move here. Also, the electric bills are outrageous because the a/c units are so old. There has been a lot of flood damage to the units. Do not move here unless you have a good lawyer.

                            AWLFUL!

                            The manager at this complex is so rude. I spoke to him on the phone and he said that i was wasting his time and all I wanted was to find out more information about this property. I definitely think this place is awlful! I'm not even a resident yet and he's already rude and mean. I do not recommend this property to anyone!
