Ashton is a delightful place to live in. There are just instances when they don't communicate or coordinate with us about services the the renter above us requested. We do not have a problem with our exhaust system, in fact it is the very reason we moved in to this apartment complex because the smell of what we cook is expelled outside into the open air. But just to remedy the above renter's requests, they just decided to change our exhaust fan. Without asking us if we prefer it to be changed or not. The most frustrating part is they covered the vent so that the smell of our cooking will not go out, it will just recirculate in our room. The management staff said they don't usually coordinate with the tenants when they decide to change any part of the apartment. But per our experience, when we request for services, they usually email us to inform when the job is to be done so we know when they come . Was it because it was not us who requested for the service? I've already complained about it more than a week ago and have yet to receive a reply.
