It was pretty obvious at move-in day that this place segregates you based on your race. If you notice, non-whites are situated in the back units while whites are towards the front. In this day and age, it is so sad to see this practice still in place. As for the unit itself, I really liked my unit. It was a 2/2, and it was very spacious. The tall ceilings contribute to create the spacious feel of the apartment. The amenities are also very nice, and the unit includes kitchen appliances, furniture, a TV, and a washer/dryer. Everything was clean (minus the common areas) at move-in day for me. The bathroom was in good condition. Overall, I loved and really do miss my unit! Regarding the staff, they will work with you for the most part. I never really had any issues with them. The manager can be a bit high-strung, but she will work with you as long as you are polite. Note: They will promise you things to get you to sign the lease, but they will fail to deliver. For example, I never received a $500 gift card that was promised with documentation. Try to ask them for incentives that can be applied immediately (e.g., reduction off the monthly rent, a giftcard AT lease signing and not after, etc.) One major, major drawback to this place is that it often got very rambunctious at night. Kids were outside until after midnight screaming, shouting, and creating an overall very unpleasant environment. This happened in the non-white area.
