The Reserve is not a place you want to live. Yes the rooms are nicer than most other apartments but that is the only thing they have going for them. This is a gated apartment complex but it might as well not be considering all you have to do is push the gate with a little force and it opens. In the fall semester there was a problem where the complex didn't get their electricity paid and though we had electricity in our rooms, the gates were left open, no lights in the parking lots, no lights in the stair wells, and no internet for 2 in a half days! Also, you pay $8 a month to have your trash picked up however, it never gets picked up. My neighbors throw their trash outside their door without a trash bag making it stink. When I have complained they come and stick a note on our door saying if our trash is outside our door at a certain time we will be fined even though the only reason it's out there is because they didn't come pick it up. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The majority of the residents are also this way. A huge fight broke out in the parking lot at 11pm on a Wednesday! They were on top of cars and everything. Also we had a drug deal gone bad happen with our neighbors and guys came and threw the concrete gutter run offs at their door. The only reason I chose to live here is because it was furnished and looked nicer but man have I regretted that.
