Overall, the Riviera Apartments are decent. Office staff and maintenance men are very nice. Property is clean and quiet. However, if the workout facility is of interest to you, beware before you sign a lease that it is not properly maintained. 3 out of the 4 workout machines (elliptical, and both treadmills) are broken, leaving only a stationary bike, weight machine, and free weights. Multiple complaints have been made to management about this issue, and the response is that they know about it, but the property manager is unwilling to do anything about it. The machines have been in this condition for as long as we've been here, and even though people still attempt to use them (because there isn't anything else), they use them at their own risk because the parts that are broken on the machines make injury to user likely. Not sure why a nice property like this, with lots of great, high rent paying tenants, would want to risk a lawsuit, or just renters not recommending them because they are too cheap to shell out a few thousand dollars for machines that are in good condition. Take a look at the machines before you sign the lease if you think you might want to use them.
