Resident 2018 - 2019

8/29/2019

Living here was the worst experience of my life! Management is run by a bunch of college students that don't do anything to solve problems. My roommate allowed 2 male recovering drug addicts to live in our supposedly "female only" apartment for over a week, and nothing was done about it until I spoke to the regional manager. One employee told us he couldn't do anything about it because he didn't know how to. When I approached management about roommates breaking terms of the lease, I was told to "find something that would piss my roommate off to get back at them." I went on vacation near the end of my lease. I got home from the airport to find that Harrison Heights employees had thrown away all of my personal belongings, even though I had paid rent in full. I was treated disrespectfully while trying to figure out what happened, and my parents and I couldn't get the regional manager to take us seriously and call us back until we threatened to contact a lawyer and filed a police report. They then accused me of lying about what personal belongings I had in my room! We were forced to… See More>

I have moved 3 daughters into Harrison Heights Apartments. Each time I have moved them in or visited the property it is clean, quiet, friendly. I have never felt their safety was an issue and the convenience of living across the street from campus without having to be restricted to on campus living is GREAT! I have priced and viewed other properties and Harrison is still my choice. Another bonus is that Harrison Heights has management living on site and has cameras and tends to enforce the rules they have put in place.

Ive only ever lived in an 8 person apartment before, so living with only 2 others was really nice. Instead of sharing a small bathroom with 4 people, I only had to share one slightly bigger with 1 person. A lot of things have been updated there, so it looks new. One problem I had was noise. my bedroom was right against the center, where the stairs and pingpong/foosball table were. Just bad luck i suppose. I dont own a car but I heard of a couple car break ins, so dont keep anything valuable in them hahaha. The residents are welcoming and super nice. Its also close to campus, which is great for me. Its nice to have a place to live that has stricter rules about drugs, because I dont want to deal with that sort of thing. So, collectively, more good than bad!

        Resident 2018 - 2019

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I lived here my first year of college and had the worst experience. The building has so many problems-- to list a few: the heating went out for three weeks during the winter, during the month of April the water shut off EIGHT times with less than twenty minutes notice-if we were given any notice at all, sewer backed up into our tub, kitchen flooded, they wouldn't let us turn on the AC til the first week of May but we were still charged the same price of utilities( same thing during the winter when we didn't have any heat and it was 12 degrees outside). MANAGEMENT IS TRASH! place is run by a bunch of teenagers who don't know anything and are of zero help when you have a problem I maybe saw an actual adult there five times in the eight months I lived there. Whenever there is a problem they always find a way to turn it around and make it your fault-- when I asked about the heat problem they told me it was my fault and that I wasn't using the thermostat right- they later hired a heating company to come… See More>

I really like this complex in the sense that it's located across the street from campus but the heat hasn't worked for two weeks. They have given us empty promises and one space heater to heat the entire three bed apartment. This strategy was not effective. The staff are college RA's and we have only dealt with them. I would rather be able to talk to management then a student my age who can't seem to get anything done. I should not have to pay $500 each month to be cold in the comfort of my own home.

Letting the management run this place is like letting a toddler fly a commercial airline, then having those same toddlers post positive reviews everywhere. They charge random late fees directly from your account and do not notify you at all, they will randomly ask you to move to a different apartment purely for their own convenience, and you are not allowed to have people sleep over or drink alcohol even if you are over 21, even though you are paying rent and are an adult. They are incompetent babysitters and only sign year-long leases because no one wants to live there long enough to re-sign a shorter lease.

Really love these apartments. Right across the street from Weber & I love being so close to school! Closer than the dorms. New staff and newly renovated too! The staff is trying everything to make this a great place to live. Super cute apartments and love how homey it is!
