Carriage Cove Apartments have been great for what I've needed, especially after my mission. The community is, for the most part, down to earth and chill. Church attendance is definitely higher than the "village" that's certain. The apartments themselves are old, but in good shape. I agree that they need to replace the appliances in the kitchen and also the old carpet, but they are still decent. The rooms are huge, especially considering the low rent. If you get a year round contract you're looking at $285 a month....with utilities around $320. It is a small ways from campus, but if you have a car or bike or legs or a bus card you can get to campus easily. I had a roommate who walked to campus most days. The people are a little older and mature, thus creating a less "frivolous" and "materialistic" bunch like you find at the "village." The wards are great and management caring. I totally suggest it for those who are looking for a good supportive environment to come back to everyday whilst studying at BYU or UVU......especially if you're an RM.
