District North has been nothing but issues. Their management fails to understand and relate to the tenants. You pay a higher price for living in a not so desirable area of Salt Lake. Management is condescending and find any avenue to make sure you are harassed often with notices and hearsay. The residents here leave dog feces EVERYWHERE. Marijuana smoke is also a common smell you are sure to experience when walking the grounds. The complex doesn't even do anything to resolve the issue. You "must capture a dog defecating on video" if you expect the complex to do anything. This community is not the best for professionals who are looking for a relaxed and professional place to live. The complex will do anything they can to mislead you and sign the lease agreement. The endless kids screaming in the pool (not to mention the moms who stand by and yell at their kids for drowning) and the pool parties that go way past pool hours are also a nuisance and very disrespectful. You also pay a fee to park your vehicle but that's almost impossible as parking is not regulated nor is it guaranteed you will park next to your apartment. I've come to realize that the management team (not leasing staff) only listen to disgruntled tenants and base all decision with no common sense on inaccurate information. I've had nothing but issues living here. If you have pets, stay away from here. This apartment complex will find a way to discriminate and discredit you in any way they can. If you have an issue, don't rely on management to find a solution for you, as they work on a fee based platform with no regard for professionalism. Do not waste your money on living here. If you also have any type of maintenance issue, you can expect a turnaround time of a few weeks for anything to get resolved. My brand new unit also had an a/c issue when I moved in. Please consider other complexes when looking for your new home. I look at reviews and honest feedback when I shop, buy or need a service, I'll try to save you the headache and the lack of professionalism.
