Resident 2015 - 2016

8/29/2016

Look elsewhere! Don't let them fool you like they did us. The community is beautiful when you take a tour and all the amenities make it seem so appealing. Don't do it!! My husband & I lived here for 1 year. We were happy the first month, then it just went downhill from there. The building is cheaply built so you have hear everything your neighbor does... EVERYTHING. Our downstairs neighbor made our year there a living hell. He made bogus complaints about us. When we told the apartment that we weren't even home when half of the complaints were made - they told us "well that's the claim so we can't do anything." So, we literally tippy-toed around our house, never had guests over, and weren't even comfortable in our own apartment for nearly a year. We paid $100 extra to park 2 cars in the garage downstairs because the apartment urged us that it would be nice to not have to shovel snow in the winter (yes, I can admit that was nice) and that it would be extra security since you needed a security fob to enter the garage. One of our cars was broken into in the garage - the back window on our SUV was completely shattered - all for a pair of sunglasses & an old iPod. The apartment did NOTHING, no sympathy at all. One of the girls, Jamie, actually told us "well, you probably shouldn't leave anything in your car." Seriously? Not to mention we paid extra to park down there, yet they let people park down there without a permit (which means they weren't paying extra every month) and did nothing about it when I brought it up. When we tried to tell them that we didn't want to pay extra for the garages anymore due to the reasons listed above Jamie told us that we weren't allowed to take them off our lease. The office staff is rude and unprofessional - they do not communicate with each other and make promises they don't follow through on. The maintenance guys are nice and get the job done right. The apartments are way overpriced for what you get. We moved about a month ago and I am dreading getting our final bill because I know they are going to try and nickel and dime us for every little thing - just like when we were living there. I hope Alliance does something about this community as they are giving Alliance a really bad name.
