Once you move to this complex you will experience the following: Safety within the community is poor. Frequent drug activity and auto thefts occur year around. The extra parking in the very back of the complex by the volleyball court is not a safe place to leave a car or camping trailer due to poor security back there. People often will break the windows and steal items. Management is rude and not helpful. They rarely warn or educate community members about crime activity within the community. They also are poor at enforcing any policy of theirs from noise to parking. They only care about getting rent money. The structure of the complex is alright. AC worked great and never had a problem with my place. Only complaint about structure: Small air vent in second bedroom in a 2 bed 2 bath. Gets super hot during the summer (even with the AC on) and super cold during the winter time (with the heater on). Solution: leave the door open. But if you have a roommate... it's better to have the damn door closed. Not so friendly neighbors-- some residents send a majority of their time outside smoking and gossiping about other residents, which like high school all over again. Rent is cheap because they offer housing to low-income-- nothing against those who need assistance but you're subjected to quarterly walk through of your apartment (Management walks through your apartment to make sure its in good order--new air filters and to make sure you don't have pets). Management also STRONGLY urges you to keep your apartment clean... my parents did the same thing too but I didn't have to pay them rent. Only plus about the complex: it's close to I15. Other than that the complex is poor overall because the crime rate there is high and management style is poor. Also, be aware that is it a nonsmoking community.. thus people smoking out by the carports and you can't keep anything on your patio (just lawn chairs and not BQQer). Read the contract carefully before signing.
