Thefts are the norm here. I have had several things stolen in just a few months. People here will even steal ashtrays if left outside. Management does not enforce leash laws at all, which can make this a dangerous place to live, as many are large breeds and quite aggressive. My 6 year old has been terrified and brought to tears on several occasions. People don't pick up after their animals, and it is so bad that you even have to watch your step on the sidewalks. Several apartments are infested with mice, and many more with bed bugs. The dumpsters overflow every week, to the point that you see huge piles --large enough to hide a small car--next to the dumpsters. If your stove breaks, or your oven, you will be waiting up to a week or longer for it to be fixed. The laundry rooms are disgusting. If you open up the little drawers in the washers to put detergent in, you will see that they have thick, slimy layers of mold and detergent. Both the washing machines and driers are not maintained, and when you do laundry, you should expect to have to rewash or redry at least one load, because so many machines aren't working and do not have "out of order" signs on them. Management takes zero responsibility for this, and when you complain they just point out that they have nothing to do with the laundry machines, because they contract with a company in New York for them. It doesn't matter that this company clearly hasn't been keeping them up, it's not management's problem, in their eyes. Do not move in here. For Gods sake, stay away. This complex is a nightmare. It is the worst complex I've lived in over the past 20 years. Do whatever you can to avoid living here.
