If I could rate lower I would. One star is far too generous. We came here shortly after getting married and we were trying to get our footing. Our income was pretty low but the apartments seemed nice enough. That couldn't be farther from the truth. There are honest hard working people here who fall short income wise and are considered low income, who are honest great people. Callaway gives low income a bad name and wrap. They are confusing 'minimum wage' with 'trash'. The 2 aren't synonymous and if you are short on cash this is not the place to go. They nickel and dime you for all you're worth. Considering what is offered this place is astronomical in price. The 'water' bill with all their fees comes to about 80-100 bucks that has to be turned in with the rent. We pay around 700 bucks a month for 400 square feet of hell that we do whatever we can to occupy for the least amount of time a day as possible. The cops are always being called in the complex. My husband's car was even broken into and everything was stolen within the first week of living here. Domestic arguments are broadcasted outside. Maury Povich has got some serious competition. The noise level is unbearable. Maintenance is super slow. Angela does great work though and she is super respectful of your time and space as well as comfort. There is poop and trash everywhere. We got lucky enough to be in a building that as far as the apartment itself is concerned it isn't super trashed. But don't worry, most of the neighbors make up for it. Callaway is so infamous that anyone who is slightly familiar with the complex mourn for you. Our lease is finally up and let me tell you, a 10 month lease has never felt so torturous.
