Rent is expensive everywhere you go. However, here they advertise a low rent price and tack on about $100 every month for "fees", which is hardly mentioned in the contract or talked about. Not only that, but upon leaving they take your $300 security deposit, which I was told I would receive back by the employee while signing papers. The apartment was left immaculate, even cleaning the oven and replacing the drip pans, yet they charged an $80 cleaning fee and a $112 painting fee. The painting was unnecessary as we only used removable wall stickers to decorate. I doubt they "cleaned" or "painted" and just pocketed the money. I even contacted the complex via e-mail and phone, and didn't receive a response as to what was left dirty or why painting was necessary. When I moved in, there were screws missing from cabinets, a broken window screen, and I had to snake the bathroom drains because they were clogged. The only upside is that maintenance fixed issues fairly quickly.
