Holy unsolicited rant! Does this guy live in this building? Some of the other reviews whined about things, but I fail to see the connection between anything he said and the previous posts.
Anyway, it´s a good building. It is loud on the Monroe Street side from construction noise, but if you get up by 7 you will be ok. If you want to sleep past 8 forget it.
They did jack the rent upon renewal but I think people forget that if you moved into the building when it was new you got a couple of months free prorated across the term. Therefore, if your lease went up 150 or 200 bucks it was from the discounted price not the market rent. Do the math - it really only went up about 50 bucks or less. If you expected it to stay the same you have never rented before.

Only noise between apts. comes from the hall. If you have a "door slammer" across the hall you will hear it. Hallways can stink up if you have a smoker or someone making smelly food, but I find that standard in most buildings. The places are nice and if you ----- about size and closets and cabinetry, then you obviously did not do a proper inspection when you were looking before you rented. There are some cracks showing the walls and stuff, but every developer is out to make a profit and you are just not going to find construction quality like the other 20, 30 or 40 year old buildings around here.
Ezekial and Mike are the best. The building throws events every month or so. The hurricane party in the fall was insane. Parking is adequate but late at night you may have to do a lap or two to find a spot.

Overall, quite acceptable. If you want to live in new building you are going to pay the price. Not quite sure where the other posters are finding cheaper apts. of the same age, but please let me know. Sure the others may be cheaper but are they less than 2 years old? If the deli downstairs would start selling beer, I may never move.
