Lofts 590 Apartments

I was one of the first residents to move-in on the second floor of this 4-floor building. My apartment has cork floors (which are cool though higher-maintenance than hard-wood) and very contempo-cool kitchen and bathroom.
Having lived in new construction before I totally understand having to work some of the kinks out....and trust me, there are always kinks. The fire-alarm testing happened weekly for the first 2 or 3 months of occupancy (always while I was at work, but the mgmt always gave days notice). The building was constructed on what was once a field, so yes, there were field mice during construction (they, like the fire alarm tests, have disappeared.) Most of the items that I over-hear in the corridors are of problems that didn't orginate with the mgmt but with outside forces. I have to say that the front desk and management staff have always been very helpful and they keep me informed of what is going on (although it's not always great happenings.) People are getting towed from the reserved-space-only garage b/c they aren't using the resident stickers assigned to them. (I was one of them, unfortunately. And it was my fault for not listening closer when he handed me the parking sticker).
Overall, I think this is one of the best buildings I've lived in, it has a 24-hour concierge, AWESOME cardio gym, and shares a pool, bigger gym, and party room with it's neighboring building. If you don't mind breaking in the new apartment, like a new car, you'll do just fine.
