Verified Resident ā¢ 2015 - 2018
I've lived at Park Adams for three years and have mostly positive feelings about it. The apartments are huge and reasonably priced. No extra perks like hardwood or balconies, and the kitchens are cramped galley-style, but for the price, it's been a wonderful fit for me. I'm not sure if it's just my apartment, but there's a slightly sulfuric smell in the summer months when the AC is turned on - it's not every day, and it's not overpowering but it's sometimes there. My first summer I called the maintenance team to look at it several times; they weren't able to pinpoint it so now I just crack a window open if it starts to smell and it usually goes away. The community spaces are pretty nice, and every few months there are resident events put on by management. I rarely interact with management but my interactions have been totally pleasant. There is a lovely pool on the property (though this summer the pool opened a month late, which was frustrating). It's about a 12 minute walk from the metro and close to several grocery stores. The best part about the apartments is how quiet they are! I rarely hear neighbors. On the whole, I've had a good few years here. I'll soon be moving on to a nicer apartment, but this was a perfectly comfortable, happy home for me!
