I've lived at this place a long time, and have seen a lot of others come and go. This is the type of place you get purely for location, and nothing more. The front office staff is generally rude. There is only one pleasant person, George, who works the evening shift. Many of the staff are rude and plain unpleasant to deal with. I'm sure that has cost them a lot of business alone. I look back on all my years here and wonder why I stayed so long-- it was the location. Nothing spectacular about the amenities and design, especially with so many other newer buildings in the area. Maintenance staff does a good job I will say that. The convenience store is, well, convenience, but all the goods are overpriced (just take a short walk to CVS or Teeter for more reasonable prices). It's nice to know that the gym is there -- but you'll probably never use it. It's always crowded because there are only 5 cardio machines, if they are all working. Overall if you are desperate for housing and don't have a car, stay here a year then leave. But in this area you won't have a hard time finding other housing options.
