I apologize that you're unhappy in your apartment. We do work hard to make sure residents are fully satisfied, and I will use your feedback to make sure we reach that goal. Our staff walks the grounds daily picking up any trash or waste, and we do our best to remind pet owners to clean up after their pet. If you ever see an area that you feel needs attention, please let me know and we'll be happy to take care of it. Finally, a few resident events are in the works, and we'll let you know as soon as we have the details. Our parking policy is there to ensure we have spaces for residents. If you have any questions about the policy, please do let me know. Preventative pest control is done weekly, and if someone reports an issue we can have Orkin go to their apartment to treat it. The front door is fully functional, however if you have any problems, please let us know as soon as possible. I apologize that you have been unhappy with your stay at Sheffield Court Apartments and that you have had several issues that were not resolved to your satisfaction. I am sorry to hear that your bike was stolen from our bike storage room. We have been working with residents to report stolen bikes to Arlington County Police who recently reported that bike thefts in Arlington County are at an all-time high. Parking is at a premium in Arlington County and we do offer several parking alternatives in an effort to fit all of our residents various parking needs. Thank you for your feedback. Your comments and responses help me to identify opportunities for me and my team to provide you with the best living experience possible. It is our goal that every resident is very satisfied. You mentioned that you have had problems with the maintenance of the fitness equipment. We do have a preventative maintenance contract with an outside vendor but sometimes things do break between visits. If you ever notice a problem with the fitness equipment please do not hesitate to email me directly at [email protected] and I will be happy to schedule repairs. We also want you to be happy with the repairs to your apartment. We're grateful you took the time to share your opinion, as your feedback is very important to us as we work on improving our community. I am sorry you've had a bad experience here. Regarding parking: we have several options. There's free street parking on N. Wayne Street and part of 9th street. There's also reserved parking for $125/month, as well as the first come, first served parking you mention. Please let me know if you'd like a reserved space. If you are having issues with your windows, we can submit a request to have our maintenance team take a look at what needs to be done, such as adding new weather stripping. We do have an Express Service Commitment, which states that requests will be filled within two business days. If this has not been your experience, please let us know so that we can address the problem. As for your concern about pricing, we do adjust rates to best reflect the current market value for the types of apartments available. These rates can fluctuate daily, and we do our best to communicate rate changes to residents during the renewal process. If residents are having an issue with noise or with your neighbors, please do contact the office so that we can address the situation with them. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. I have recently sent a community wide e-mail about parking rules, and we are strictly enforcing towing. In terms of the windows, we recommend opening the window in the bathroom as much as possible to release the humidity that can build up.
