Perhaps because I am in a furnished apartment my experience has been better than others. The office staff and maintenance folks have been SUPER nice and helpful, although they don't necessarily "go the extra mile." Yes, there has been construction, both in the complex and next door, but it must be winding down because it isn't that bad now. Nice tenants in the bldg. Free shuttle in a.m. and p.m. to/from metro is nice, but times are limited.
Lots of pet owners, but I hear almost no barking. It would be nice to see SOME grass in or around the complex.
Proximity to restaurants in Shirlington Village is nice (can walk there in 2 minutes), but no way to get to a grocery store nearby.
I will say is that, for $3,700/mo, it's WAY overpriced for what I got, given that it doesn't come with a work area/desk, any internet hook-ups, and other simple things one might expect them to provide for a corporate client for a short-term (3-mo) stay.
