I lived at The Mill (previously Dutch Village) for 5 years. It had its problems at the beginning but with a positive change in office staff and maintance it has overcome those challenges. The population here is made up of mostly families and graduate students so noise and parties where not an issue. Parking was never a problem, there are plenty of spaces and the office does not require any kind of parking stickers. I have two children and felt very comfortable about their saftey. The people in the office are really concerned about your hapiness and will ,at times, go beyond the call of duty to help you out. The maintance staff is always courtious and quick to help. They will even take their shoes off before entering your apartment if you request them to do so. They don't always get it right the first time but are diligent in fixing what ever is wrong. If you happen to need a new appliance that may take more time that you would want it to, but overall a very good crew at The Mill. The A/C is not real efficient for a 3 bedroom but I have spoken to others who live in a 2 bedroom and they said their A/C was okay. A good choice considering price and location.
