I lived in a newly renovated one bedroom apartment at Westgate and was really happy with the unit itself - the renovations were really nice and the new appliances in the kitchen and the cabinets were especially well done. In reality, if it weren't for the unbelievably rude management (and, to be fair, a job in another town), I would still be living there. The problem with the management is that they will lie to your face without a moment's hesitation. For instance, on more than one occasion I requested routine maintenance in my apartment and was told by management that they'd send someone on a specific date but no one would show -- which was particularly inconsiderate given that I had to take unpaid time off work to be at the apartment waiting. They also promised that the renewal rates on their apartments would either increase by only a modest amount or not increase at all from one year to the next, but that was a lie too - they definitely will raise your rent by an unfair amount (as in more than 10%) after you've been there for a year just because they know you won't want to go through the hassle of moving. And let's not even talk about their policy of basically never returning a security deposit and not even giving any explanation for why, no matter how nice you leave the place. I put that I would not recommend the apartment to someone else because I wouldn't wish upon anyone the frustration of dealing with the management office. That said, if you don't care about that kind of relationship these ARE really nice apartments so maybe it's a good place for you (and it is nice that all of the utilities are included except internet, which they will try to mislead you on and suggest that it's included by its actually an extra charge).
