Grand Oaks Apartment Homes

The properties are very well maintained, with the exception of the many many stray cats running around. The management tackles any issues promptly, and they are pleasant to work with. One of them is sometimey, but I've gone without issue. The inside is spacious, however the cabinets are cheap, and a few other cheap fixes. Now, here are the cons of this complex: 1. The kids! I love kids, but it seems most of them here are unruly. They run around at all times of the day and night with no supervision. Get used to kick-ball games at 8am.. kids playing in your bushes, swinging from the tree limbs, screaming, cursing, etc. I had a guest over, and they broke out the brake light to her 2008 Mercedes Benz.. and there is nothing to be done about it. The kids are rude. And I will reiterate, NO supervision. I almost backed out my car to a 3-4yr old riding his tricycle with no parent in sight. The walls are thin, so you will hear them screaming all day and all night playing outside. 2. The traffic! It's not uncommon to have groups of 4-5 men standing around outside of your townhouse at the corner at 1am.. many people here carrry themselves like Grand Oaks is project housing.. In fact, many of the residents you would swear came here from the projects. Music blaring from the cars, people putting all their business in the front yard, drama, and etc. 3. Stray cats galore! The parking is ok.. sucks if you have a visitor cone over as there isn't many visitor spots except in front of the complex. It's expensive to live here, and not a peaceful community AT ALL.. I am listening to my neighbor screaming now as I am writing this review.
