We moved in as soon as this place opened. Before our lease was out, we couldn't wait to move out. Things were always falling apart (all the door knobs fell off 3 months in), the buildings are very cheaply built, and maintenance requests were often slow. We lived in one of the 2-BR townhouse-style units, and the second floor started sliding into the stairwell after about 6 months, breaking the drywall. Parking is insufficient, and the neighbors have some habits that you might think you have priced yourself out of but you have not (dog crap EVERYWHERE, drunk trash left in the elevators, etc.). The trash dumpsters are often overwhelmed. Our experience culminated with a yelling argument with a staff member because she accused us of trashing the party room *before* reviewing the security tape, and then refused to apologize.
Unrelated to Camden, we were really looking forward to living here because of the movie theater--we go to the movies every weekend. This theater apparently doesn't get first dibs on movies or something, though. Half the time we had to drive to another theater b/c they weren't showing our movie (Harry Potter, King Kong, etc.).
I would never recommend living here unless you like to go out enough that walking home is a deciding factor--because it's good for that. Oh, and the kitchens are awesome. That is the only thing I miss.
