I lived in Styron Square and really have no reason to be upset, so I will try my best to give a very honest and fair review.
Pros:
Great location
24 gym
Club house (only open during office hours)
Dog park available for residents
Plenty of places to eat/shop directly outside the front door
Hospital and Churches are located right down the road
Management puts together wonderful events for residence
1 car assigned parking per family
Balcony and fireplace in most apartments
Semi gated community
Part Time door man
Pretty quiet community
Newsletters produced by management helps keep residence in the know
Cons:
The apartments are way over price and to call them "luxury" is a stretch
People do not always clean up after their pets, leaving feses on the grounds
People often throw cigarette buds on the ground and leave them there
(However I must say there are fines for both should the person be caught)
Car break ins have been reported
1 maintenance guy for all apartments which is unfair to him but also to the residents (so at times repairs are not done right away)
Paper thin walls - You can hear your neighbors walking, talking, dog barking, etc.
The floors in certain areas of the apartment make a cracking noise when you step on it
The sink and water at times has a foul odor to it
The building alarms go off falsely which causes a very loud piercing sound for about 15min to a half hour
At times you will hear noise outside from people passing by but it is generally quiet.
I tried to be as honest as possible so I hope this review helps.
