Great views. Stupid management. This year some management bonehead decided that the air conditioning would not be turned on until May 1st. Unfortunately, the weather didn't get their memo and there has been at least 10 days in May where my apartment tempature exceeded 90 degrees. Responding to many resident complaints, management even sent around a memo falsely claiming that the City of Norfolk was preventing them from turning on the air conditioning earlier. It was an obvious lie. Often the management are indifferent to the needs of their residents.
The pool area and small gym is in need of remodeling. The hot tub is often broken or isn't heated to at least 102 degrees. The outdoor space on the roof is shabby and the floor boards on the sun deck are dangerous. The hallways have dated wallpaper and wornout carpet. Most of the kitchen and bathrooms are original (1964), decades old and are in need of upgraded replacement.
This is a property worth saving!
