"The Bristol" advertise themselves as a luxury apt. Not so!. They are expensive but that doesn't make an apt luxururious. My biggest complaint is nose transmission. I have made complaints on four occassions and so far little results, in spite of a clause in the rental contract that assures you that no electronic noise will be permittted to "bother" fellow residence.

What attracted me to the Bristol was all the appliances such as W/D, and a dishwasher. In addition to the rent you have to pay a monthly fee for those appliances. Not so bad but the appliances are definitely at the low end of the functional scale. In my apt the dishwasher is so noisy it is hard to listen to my TV in the next room, and it functions so poorly that I have ended up hand washing a lot of my dishes. I could go on.

Suffice it to say, after living here less than two months, that I am hitting the road as soom as possible. Perhaps that is why the carpets in a relatively new building are so stained...everyone is moving out.
