The Alexander at Ghent Apartment Homes
Resident • 2007 Not Recommended
For over $1000 a month, I am greeted each day upon return to my "luxury home" by the smell of trash permeating the hallways. I walk down a hall of dingy carpet, littered with cigarette butts and beer bottles and covered with pet stains. Once inside my apartment I hear my upstairs neighbor's television, dishwasher and washing machine. To drown out the noise, I turn on my television, which results in banging on my wall from my next door neighbor. I decide to go to bed, but am awakened by car alarms going off or someone's late night party across the courtyard that last until 4am on a weeknight. If I m lucky enough to avoid these two noise makers, a neighbor s dog begins howling at the moon.

If you want to have guests, good luck. They have to park outside on the street and if you do not have a land line phone, you cannot buzz them in. Instead, you have to wind through the Bristol maze to let your guests in the building.

Though the apartment itself is bad, it pales in comparison to management. Incompetent does not do justice in describing the Bristol's staff. If you are considering the Bristol, please think again as you will definitely regret it. Run away from the Bristol - run far, far away.
