It's been alright. There has been a lot of mis management and turnover when it comes to the property management. Delays in getting maintenance repairs as well as building issues that have taken over a month to resolve.

To say that this building is located on Granby street, downtown Norfolk, its fairly quiet in the inside. There is no other place I'd rather live right now. What I really like about this place is the management and maintenance crew are really nice.

My experience at The Loraine has been amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly/helpful, you never hear the other tenants, and the building is very beautiful and clean! I would highly recommend The Loraine to anyone looking to move to Downtown Norfolk.

Please know that we value our residents and their feedback. I can certainly understand your frustration with the elevator temporarily being out of service. Shortly after discovering the problem yesterday afternoon, a technician arrived to begin the repairs. Please know, that there is a loading zone at the side entrance of our building that you are welcome to use for unloading groceries. If you are parking in a garage more than two blocks from our building, please contact me immediately so that we may have you assigned to the garage where our residents are provided spaces. Yes, several Managers from our sister properties have worked at The Loraine, prior to my arrival. Having worked at my previous community for nearly seven years, I understand the benefits of having long-term staff members and it is my intention to stay at The Loraine for quite some time. Thank you for your review. You've made a very good point regarding the several recent staff changes. Having just started this month as the new Property Manager, I will be sure to formally introduce myself, our new leasing agent and new service manager to our residents. Regarding parking, the recent surge in Downtown Norfolk's growth has made unreserved parking more challenging, however the City does offer reserved parking spaces to our residents for an additional monthly fee. I am available on-site, Monday through Friday, 2pm to 6pm and would very much like to meet and discuss in detail the items for which you've not yet received assistance. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. My name is Whitney Bruce and as of April, I am the new Property Manager of The Loraine. To clarify, your electricity is provided through Dominion Power. Your monthly utility bill is sent from our utility management company and includes the billing of five different utilities that are provided through the City of Norfolk, Dominion Power and Virginia Natural Gas. Several of the issues you mentioned are ones I'm not familiar with but certainly items that we can immediately work to resolve. You also discussed not being able to locate former staff members on-site. From my first day as Property Manager, I've been committed to changing that. I will be in the office, available to assist residents face-to-face, from the hours of 2pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
