This apartment building has beautiful common areas and the inside of the units appear nice as well. My main complaint is the concierge area. I'm not sure of her name, but she is an African American lady with a close shaven haircut. She is extremely rude and unhelpful when it comes to getting packages. A few weeks ago, I walked up to the desk and she was on her phone. With her head still down and on her phone, she asks if I need to pick up a package. I get my packages and I stand there and she walks away. I'm thinking I need to sign for the packages, like the other staff have me do, but she doesn't ask me to sign. I then get an email thanking me for getting my packages. I just found it weird that she didn't have me sign for it, but other people have me sign for it. I just feeling like signing for a package should be required to make sure the residents are receiving their things. Another member of the concierge staff (African American lady with dreads) is extremely rude to. I just don't get it. Denise was really friendly and helpful. I haven't seen her lately so I'm assuming she left. Another thing that can be improved are the trash rooms. It's not maintenice's fault, but I think management should enforce more the act of residents actually putting trash down the chutes. There's always piles of trash on the floor I live in due to the laziness of the residents. Regarding noise, yes you will hear your neighbors, but I do agree that management can do a better job of controlling the unacceptable noise that can be prevented. Regarding the leasing staff, Kierra is unhelpful and never willing to try to even find the answers to questions a resident may have. Alice is the most helpful one out of all of them. She's always nice and cheerful and willing to help. I've never once seen her be rude or look unwilling to help. Staff did a lot to get residents, but now that they are almost filled, there are no promotions or any incentives for current residents to stay. There's a lot of competition and I think they should be trying to keep their residents. Great location, clean building for the most part, and a lot of things to do in the area.
