This is my first year renting with Pierce Arrow Properties, but I have already run into countless problems with their management, accounting, and office staff. This is a very poorly run company. For an office of only a few people, you would think you were dealing with an enormous bureaucracy in any attempt to get anything done with them. My roomates and I have issues right off the bat when we signed our lease. They changed our move-in date on us several times, and back-pedaled every time they did so, saying they had not in fact changed it at all. We had a very hard time getting our lease signed, as we could not each be there at the same time. It took us weeks to finally get a confirmation from Pierce Arrow that we had, in fact, completed our paperwork. I just recently ran into a convoluted issue with accounting, where they had more of my money than they needed and told me that there was no way that they could return my money to me. I'm no lawyer, but that sounds insane and fraudulent to me.
On the other hand, their maintenance staff is very friendly, and is always willing to help if you can get the office to even tell them about your problem. It took us five attempts to get a cracked window fixed in our apartment. When the maintenance guy arrived, he had only just heard of the problem and was extremely apologetic.
We have only been here a little over four months...
