Laurel Pines Apartments

It is a quiet community so far. I have been here for one month, however, I can honestly say I will not be renewing my lease. These apartments are extremely old and highly out dated. My apartment is supposedly updated and all they did was put in new carpet (most apartments do this when a new tenant moves in any way) and sloppily paint ALL of the cabinets (and light fixtures, door handles, toilet; virtually everything has paint on it. Peep hole in front door painted over so I can't see out, smh). Cannot use sprayer in kitchen because the water in kitchen will go out. Apartments themselves are solid when it comes to the walls, I can't hear my next door neighbors. However, the person above me is another story. The floors creak horribly, and you here every step they take with a nice defined 'boom'. And the office people are not much help when it comes to issues with fixing things but are quick to take your rent check. Did I mention I have only been here a month?!
