I resided at this apartment for almost 2 years. They charge you for every penny. An electric bulb replacement costs you 15$. Holly molly.. who would charge 15$ for an electric bulb replacement. Smoke detector battery costs you 8$. They rip you off on your move out. They charge for every penny. Better get the apartment professionally cleaned. That would save lots of $$.
If you move in, better take pictures of each and everything. You better put every minor observation as damage. Though you don't consider as a damage better report them. They need proof for every small thing. Even a small line on cabinets or flooring is considered as a damage made by you during your move out. Becareful.
I hardly pay my rent late and I missed it twice by one day of the deadline. They don't even care to waive the fine even if you pay the very next day. They say it is system automated and can't be overriden. However the same system can be manipulated when you first move in. What an irony.
