Resident 2011 - 2012

2/26/2012

I moved in during the fall from out of state (up north where rent prices are high for small sq-ft) and I'm more then HAPPY with my decision. The staff is very courteous, helpful and maintenance is ALWAYS great! For minor repairs( light bulb replacement, garbage disposal) repairs were done the same day I requested it. Only one negative: Our microwave caught on fire within one week of moving in lol and was a drag to not have one for 2wks but that's more of UPA's issue. It was then replaced with a brand new one & its been fine even since. Notes are left when they enter your home with the time and nature and notices are given well in advance for routine filter cleaning visits. I have a 3 bedroom and the layout of the apartment is spacious; 9ft ceilings. The laundry room is large & I LOVE MY MASTER WALK IN CLOSET! Its HUGE! I've never felt unsafe here and there is always ample amount of parking, even having 3 roommates with cars. The grounds are well-kept, no insect issues (thank GOD) and it hasn't been an issue with snow (timely plow truck & salt), first winter here. PERK its a 10 minute drive to downtown and secluded. There is extra storage/garage available if you need it. DOWNFALL: You can hear your upstairs neighbors, its a family friendly complex (2 and 3 bedrooms only) so this is expected with having children or heavy footed adults present. My bf takes out the trash but from what I've heard the garbage area isn't the best, however it isn't the worse. As for the summer...we'll see how the "issues" with the pool goes (other not so high reviews) but overall I love this place! Even with one roommate moving out by the end of the lease I will be renewing to a 2 bedroom.
