I first leased a 1 bedroom on Carrene Drive, it's an older complex but management still works to keep it in good condition. The one bedroom was not an updated one but it suited my needs at the time plenty of closet space and inexpensive on utilities. While I was there they updated both the toilets and showers with low flow to save on water expenses. The maint was prompt when something needed to be fixed, recently I found I needed more space so Sara and Jessica worked to draw up a transfer to a townhouse in the same community. I was just shy of the 6month mark for being able to transfer but they worked with me since I am active duty and would have been away from the states when my lease term for the one bedroom ended. The townhouse is much more spacious and in the last few months there was only time when I was concerned a leak in the upstairs bathroom had seeped down and softened a part of the ceiling, again this is one of the unrenovated townhouses so its furnishing are a bit dated, as soon as I reported it maint. came out and took a look, about a day later they had their contractors in to assess the full problem and less than a week after that the problem was fixed no more hole in the ceiling and subflooring repaired. The neighborhood is quite on the 2 streets I have resided and many of my neighbors are kind and welcoming. Noise is a bit of a problem on the weekends because it is right behind a local bar, but surprisingly haven't heard a bad band yet, doesn't really affect sleep because they cut music off about 11pm. Location was a big factor for me I work on JEBLC and my commute in the morning is never more than 10 minutes. Overall, this place is a great value for the cost and I haven't been at all disappointed.
