First of all, please accept our apologies if you had an unpleasant experience at Colonial Pines. We strive to make repairs within 24 hours unless we need to hire a contractor or order a particular item to make a repair. Pest control does treat 8 apartment homes every week as per our contract or residents may call in a request in which case they will be added to the list for the week. Residents have a choice whether or not to participate in our Community Rewards program. There are several ways to earn points, i.e, renewing a lease, posting any type of review, participating in a community event, etc. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience you had while living here. Thank you for taking the time to post your review. First of all, my apologies for any inconvenience you have encountered due to the water shut offs, especially dealing with a sick child. You are a valued resident that pays on time and keeps a beautiful home! As you mentioned, this is an older community, and although it does happen from time to time, we try to give as much notice as possible before a water shut off, but sometimes, in an emergency, we aren't able to do so. In that case, we send out a broadcast email with the information as soon as possible. Please know that we value all of our residents and that you all are considered family. Good morning! Thank you so much for leaving such a detailed review of your experience at Colonial Pines. We highly value your opinion and appreciate all of your feedback, positive and otherwise. I wanted to let you know that we have received approval to build a fenced in area for dogs this year, which will hopefully be very soon! Perhaps we can update the playground in 2019...we will ask for it during budget preparation! When you see anything suspicious, please call the police and let us know here in the office. What a great testimony indeed! Thanks so much for taking the time to tell everyone how happy you are and how long you have lived here. Seeing reviews from a resident who has lived here 21 years tells a story that everyone wants to read. We do have a staff that has been here for a long time. Almonie 7.5 years (11 with Drucker & Falk), Cheryl 18 years, Gus 19 years, Lee 2 years and I have been here 10.5 years. That kind of staff longevity is rare in any business these days, but especially in the property management industry. It is an honor and my pleasure to work with this staff to serve our residents! Regarding parking, we know it is a challenge at times as well and we are constantly monitoring the parking lot for vehicles that are inoperable or have expired state tags and inspections!
