Founder's Village has a lot of flaws. They take care matters that would affect the community image. They don't give urgent attention to extreme weather. The scary part was they secretly took out money from my bank account. I cancelled my autopay instructions immediately. We moved out on 8/19/2019. The manager was in direct contact with us by calls and emails after we moved out. She did not mention anything wrong with the unit. She wanted a check of $325 from us for a housecleaning company. I sent it to her even though I thought the charge was outrageous considering the size of the unit and the conditions. About 2 weeks after the manager acknowledged receipt of my check, I received in mail an itemized statement of $1,700+. This amount includes water of $190+ and A fridge. In effect, Founder's is charging us a total over $2,100. This is not a small deal. How come they did not discuss with us about it. Founder's deprived us the chance to look at our fridge to decide whether we wanted to keep. They bully us because we are too nice. I am truly disappointed at Founder's. They are unethical.

We are glad that you enjoyed the amenities and our efficient maintenance staff but are disheartened by your impression of our management as our team aims to accommodate all of our residents fairly and consistently. We understand your frustration with the harsh weather and that you feel frustrated with your move out charges so we are more than willing to provide any clarity you may need regarding those charges.
