I found this place by chance while parsing through Craigslist adds back in the spring, and decided to jump on renting the one apartment available less than an hour after doing a walkthrough. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and honored my claim when I called in by phone literally minutes before another person came to take a look.
After living here for almost six months, I'm very happy with my experience. My walls are well insulated from noise in other apartments and with my windows closed I don't hear too much outside from the street. There's construction across the way right now unfortunately, but it's only been annoying a couple times and doesn't reflect on the building I think.
Parking seems a little tight sometimes but I haven't had any problems and there are two gates inside the garage. The building has a few retail spaces and only a few floors, making a pretty small apartment community. The interior hallways, elevator, and entrances are all well maintained.
Getting delivery or letting in visitors can be inconvenient because there is no way to buzz people in to the residential elevator or stairwell, but I suppose it's the cost of a little extra security.
Many of my neighbors have dogs of various sizes, and I've never had a problem with them.
There's no smoking inside of the building, which is a huge plus in my mind. Of course some others won't see it this way, so smokers please take note so you're not surprised.
Also: Broiler Bay burgers is right across the street on 107th, which is a hard perk to beat.
Go check out their website to see the floorplans; they're a bit more spacious than indicated.
