these apartments are managed by essex property management which exists solely to swindle unsuspecting residents out of deposited funds. the on-site management of the leasing office can barely add two numbers together as my rent and utility payments were credited to the wrong apartment account numerous times. i moved out of this complex in october because of the $300 rent increase. i am still waiting for money that they owe me for their faulty record keeping. in addition, there are only 2 people on the maintenance team - one of whose whereabouts is rarely known. maintenance response is slow - both for internal apartment issues as well as issues concerning community areas. parking around my building was scarce. so in addition to the outrageous rent, i paid additional monies each month to ensure that i had an assigned, convenient place to park my car at night. even then, parking was not guaranteed. bottom line, there are some genuine concerns about the leasing and managment practices of these apartments. save some time and money and find somewhere else to live. you'll be less stressed in the long run.
