I moved to Lakemont Orchard at the end of June 2020. Due to additional (and frankly, questionable) precautions taken because of Covid-19, my experience was not optimal. It's hard to make an accurate assessment or informed decision regarding a rental property when you can not physically inspect it first hand.
Regardless of the measures taken that were beyond the control of Greystar Properties, I was dissatisfied with the quality of the apartment and the quality of service once I moved in. The first thing I noticed when handed the keys to my apartment, was the door was scuffed very badly. Not particularly appealing or welcoming. The kitchen appliances were dented and there were many scratches and signs of damage to the cabinets. One of the cabinet doors has stripped wood, so when the door is opened, the hinge shifts and the door hangs unevenly. The shower in the second bedroom has a broken hardware system and cannot produce hot water. The second bedroom was poorly painted, evident in the huge missed section behind the door. There was no trash can included in the unit even though one is supposed to be there for the valet service. I still was charged a trash fee. These concerns were all brought up within the first few days living there, yet I'm still waiting for these things to be addressed three weeks later...
