Watching this place deteriorate over the last couple years has been sad. First, endless construction/painting projects have the interior of the buildings looking awful. In addition to the color scheme that includes purple hues that make the hallways look like an Easter fun house, the painting company did a hack job. Locks and door knobs have paint swipes over them. The unit number signs have paint smudges and are carelessly nailed into the wall, and you can still see the old paint under the new in some spots. Furthermore, units that were supposed to be upgraded years ago still haven't been touched, due in part to the staffing on this property becoming comical. I don't know if the constant turnover or rude employees have created more frustration from residents, but it's all becoming quite a show. The new billing system is also right up there among the most mindless processes this place has adopted. Residents can no longer see details of their bill through the billing company. It's just categorized and added on to rent, and you just have to trust an office staff known for constant errors got it right. Amazing. Almost no property rules are enforced either. I see cars and motorcycles parked endlessly in the same spot despite the 48 rule, in a parking situation so terrible I'm surprised it passes city code. I've literally been forced to park in a separate neighborhood because there are no spots available on the entire block. There are new buildings all over Issaquah, and I can't wait to relocate to one.
