I would not recommend these apartments. The first year price is great and then it keeps going up dramatically every year. It's currently under new mnagement for a month now. The building is very old and anything built in the 70's and has not been updated makes the utility bills higher yet it's still an uncomfortable tempurature in every room. The windows need to be updated, the fireplace is only for looks and it doesn't actually warm up the livingroom. The wood roof needs to be replaced and it's wasp infested. It is section 8 so there is a lot of Domestic Violence, drugs, an alcohol that live on the property, the pool is not maintained and my child got sick from standing in it, the work out room always has something broken, the tanning room is not sanitary, the extra living room can only be used if you ask the office for the key to borrow in the day time, maintenance is slow... they haven't fixed our in wall unit air conditioner for over a month and it's been 100 degrees everyday this July in the apartment. Not all units have washers and dryers and not all units have fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The baseboard heaters are a fire hazard and they are inconviently along the walls you would want to put your couch or bed up against. They also only have 1 fire alarm per apartment unit and none outside in the hallways or any in bedroom or livingroom. The kitchen applicances are either old and from the 70's or they are new and very cheap and hardley works at all. You get 1 parking spot per married couple/unit. You can pay an extra $85 a month for a garage. Pets are accepted with a $300 depsoit but there is a lot of dog Poop everywhere and no one picks up after their animals. Not everyone follows the dog breed restrictions or put them on leashes. You can open your windows to the smell of smoke or dog poop.
