As often as possible the rent is raised, but I have no idea where the money goes. They finally opened the pool last week, but closed it again this weekend (I think as punishment to the complex because one person put a rock in the pool entry door to hold it open). It's August, and I have still not had the opportunity to use the pool. The stairs are slanted, the entrances to the units are always littered. The building materials are cheap! Even the closet handles are plastic. Oh, and the inconveiniences! The office is only open until 5 on weekdays, so if you actually work a day job good luck getting packages or laundry coins from the office. Rent is only payable by cashiers check or money order, which makes me wonder why the heck they do background and credit checks as well as collect a deposit. Banks will only do cashiers checks for a few hours on Satudays, or during bank hours. So, that means that you have to pay the bank a service fee to pay your rent, and find a way to get to the bank during the hours that they will write those checks. On a positive note, they finally power washed all the spider webs out of the high-ceiling entries. The courtyard in the center of the complex is well maintained, and children are often playing out there. The office manager is usually pleasant, but doesn't have the authority to answer for the property owner. We will be moving out.
