Cooper's Glen Apartments
Resident · 2010 - 2011
Any parent considering Cooper's Glen Apartments as a less expensive option than dormitory living for their college age child be forewarned. There is an altogether unwholesome atmosphere in The Glen which is not at all conducive to a healthy lifestyle. The place is rife with drug activity and raucous, nightly parties are consistently tolerated to the detriment of serious students in need of a peaceful environment where they can sleep and study undisturbed. There is also a complete lack of oversight by the staff and management where security is concerned and thefts and break-ins are common occurrences on the premises. It is also a magnet for vagrants and couch-surfers looking to take advantage of young and vulnerable people unaccustomed to living without the presence of an RA. If you feel that your college-aged child is savvy enough to safely navigate a terrain of drug dealers, petty thieves and heavy partying then go ahead and rent here. But be prepared for when they call home complaining of insomnia or a stolen laptop.
