What can I say...the Crossings at Chapel Hill are an apartment; nothing more and nothing less. You can hear your neighbors, cobwebs were everywhere on the outside of the building, and parking was disastrous. For the first few months, the apartments were tolerable. Then the office staff had some sort of changeover and problem after problem happened. One instance was with bugs on the patio. A nest had hatched and we called the management...they said we had to call the 24 hour line but it didn't really qualify as an emergency. But the person on the phone would talk to the manager and we'd hear back. Four months later, our issue still hasn't been addressed. I also had a problem with a wasps nest in the siding on the patio. We called the office and the manager submitted a request. I got home from work one afternoon and the maintenance guy had left a 3/4 empty bottle of wasp killer and told me, "You can handle it, right?" The outside of the apartment were gross. I finally got around to complaining about the cobwebs on the stairs and the maintenance guy was powerwashing and soaked my front room! It seriously flooded my entry way. I lived in the back of the complex and complained multiple times about the brown lawn as well. The sprinklers were rarely ever on and grass never got greener...maybe it's because I didn't live on the "other side." To top everything off, on moveout, the paperwork was signed and everything said the apartment was in good condition. I ended up getting a bill 2 weeks later for $400 in repairs! After taking the company to court, I was finally able to get my deposit back. Problem after problem after problem. This has been the absolute worst apartment experience I've ever had!
