I would not reccomend this apartment complex or the managment company. I will be moving at the end of my lease due to problems living here. Children run around at all hours of the night ( not managments fault but that of the parents) I keep to myself but on the occasions that i needed help from managment she was rude and unhelpful. managment bad mouths coworkers to tenants and other people (very unprofessional)(jen was wonderful, would be a great manager if given the chance) There is dog poop everywhere and garbage on the grounds. I was told many times that poop would be delt with and that the garbage would be delt with but it never happened. If you want to step in dog doo everytime you walk outside then this is the place for you. If you want to worry about the big dogs everytime you open your door, then this is the place for you. I do like the false sence of security the gate gives me but that is all it is false. Dogs run around leeshless and if you have smaller dogs or smaller children they are attacked by these bigger dogs and when you complain about it to managment their response is "i will handle it." and she never does. you are charged for the pool water and the grounds water, and utilities are per building split up between the tenants so pretty much you can be as frugal as you want with your lights and heat and it does not help your power bill. Alot of younger people live here and they are constantly speeding through the lot even though there are clearly little children around. The wooded area towards the back of the complex has caught on fire 2 times since i have been here due to kids playing with fire (again parents fault not managment) I will miss some of the other parents when i am gone but i will not miss living here. It is nice having on site 24 hour workout room and tanning but 75% of the time the fan in the tanning bed is broken. ok lets get to maintnance, they are nice enough and are adequate at their job but could use some more training on appliance care and repair. they do have an emergency line that is 24/7 which is nice but you have to hope and pray that whatever breaks is something they know how to fix. Ok for the apartment itself, For $800 a month you get 800 sq ft. make sure you see the unit that you will rent, the madel is pristine and the other apartments are not. the appliances are dated and need to be replaced badly. The walls are soo thin that i can hear my neighbors using the bathroom while i am in the kitchen cooking. you hear everything inside the other apartments as well as outside (including the many teens-young adults who like to work on their cars/sterios at 2 am) In my personal opinion pay the extra hundred or less and go down the road to another complex. Most of the issues i have with this complex would change if managment would just do her job and make people follow the rules.
On another note, apartment living sucks apartments are cheaply designed to maximise profit so you will hear everyone all the time (managment has no control over that). Wherever you go everything will not be completely up to par with what you expect. Apartments may look nice but once you move in things may go wrong or you may not like your neighbors or so on and so forth. The big thing that you need to look for is the managment staff. Read the reviews and find a place that is constantly being praised for their staff and the other things may not matter as much.
