Resident 2017

The apartment had a wet odor to it and no mater how much time we spent cleaning everything would be covered in mold within days. Brand new shower curtains were covered in mold in no time, and we had to throw them away. We lived there for 6 months and had to throw out our new couch upon departure because of the mold. Also watch out for fees. What was supposed to be a $2300 / month rent added up to between $3000 and $4000 monthly average due to their outrageous fees (at least a dozen of them that add up by nickle and diming) and utilities that were higher for a 2 bedroom apartment than we now pay for a 5 bedroom single family home. Unethical staff. For example, they will tell you before you move in while you are considering the place that if you move out early they will try to lease out the place, and if they get a new tenant, you will get your break lease fee back because "you can't charge rent for the same place twice". That's to entice you to sign the lease. After you break the lease, they will say "I don't know what you are talking about. No one has ever gotten their break lease fee back". For us, this unethical bait and switch cost well over $4000. So watch out. They charge for parking. However, the paid spot is smaller than the free one, and in fact it's so small that we couldn't open the doors on one side. No, I'm not kidding and no, it wasn't a discounted spot. I feel sorry for people who live there and can't afford a better place.
