Absolutely the WORST experience I ever had!

I have to say, it´s not Archstone, but this particular complex that was responsible for the horrible nature of my rental experience. I´ve lived at several Archstones, and had mixed experiences, but never as bad as Inglewood Hill; and, Archstone´s corporate office proved to be very, very helpful, in the end.

To summarize, it was noisy and cheap, I was always cold, regardless of how high I had that cheap little wall-heater cranked, and the office staff was utterly obnoxious!

I transferred from another Archstone, in a midwestern state. When I arrived at IH, they pretended that they´d never received the paperwork, and made me sit in the movie room for 5 hours while they redid the application, and checked credit, etc. (all of which was unnecessary according to the transfer agreement). Then, when I re-transferred, a few months later, due to a job change, they pretended that I hadn´t given them notice, and tried to charge me a full month´s rent, plus enormous (and completely concocted) damages to the apartment, such as "countertop replacement ... see another review in this list for exactly the same comment, etc. Archstone corporate was very good to me, and basically swatted IH on the nose for bad behaviour...

I wouldn´t even think of going there - neither should you. Just remember: Noisy (small child of about 7 years of age running back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, all day and night long and management wouldn´t serve a complaint, assumedly because someone in the office was related to the tenants above me), Cheap (bad appliances, no microwave, cheap, peeling countertops), and BAD, DISHONEST SERVICE!!!!

DON´T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!
