Management, or lack there of. They don't have much concern for the resident. Memos and all notices lack professionally and consideration. Quite frankly, the management talks down to the residents. Though there does seem to be a great deal of people here that act like children, so I can see why the management acts the way it does, though that does not make it acceptable. Over 20 years in living in apartments, I have not had to contact an apartment office about so many problem as I have here this year. From the water heater breaking to problems with ants. If the office person is in, there are usually make excuses for any problem. And being that there is only one 'handy man' for the entire building, it does put a person on a waiting list (though it is also common to be forgotten about). I like my apartment very much. It is just the management and the general condition of the place that is poor. There is a great view from the rooftop deck, next to a small 'gym' room that is fill with a only broken or near broken equipment. I am able to deal with all of this as long as the rent stays low. If you are interested in living here, figure out what is important to you first. There are many places of Avalon that are nicer, but do cost a little bit more.
