A FORMER GEM IN THE HEART OF SEATTLE
I lived at the Decatur 2 times in my 10 years in Seattle. The first in 1996-1998 and I loved the experience. The staff at the time Sigrin and Rick were certainly two of the best managers I have ever come across. ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

the condo's are overpriced for what you get

sorry to see it go
The Decatur was sold, and it's going to be condos. I really liked it here--great location, friendly and attentive mgmt, etc, but it's all about the $$ and they are being converted to condos.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Invasion of Privacy and Poor Management
The management and maintenance staff are not so friendly or helpful. First, you'll find that management is hard to get a hold of. Although their hours clearly state 9 to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 5pm on Satruday and Sunday, you'll find thatā¦Ā See More >anonymous

A good place in Downtown
After reading the comments and having lived here for over a year...I can honestly say that in DOWNTOWN SEATTLE it is a great place to be. You have to expect that living an URBAN area like downtown Seattle there will be noise and badā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Charming building and friendly staff
I have only lived here for a short period of time ( at least compared to a lot of those who live in the building) but I just love it here and I have lived in several different places. The manager Judie is very kind,ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

The run-around.
Parking is a nightmare. Good luck sitting on the waiting list, and watching new residents get parking with ease. The management is rude and never around. Too many students and their unwanted guests. The only good thing is the rent, whichā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Why would you want to live there
The staff were very unfriendly and not very helpful. They always had other people hanging out with them in the office.

Why do manager give their opinions??
This is not a nice place to live, it is obvious the manager is putting their own opinion to increase their positive rating. Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad of a place but it certainly is not that great. It's noisy,ā¦Ā See More >Barby

Think twice
In February of 2003, I rented a one bedroom apartment at the Decatur for $815 a month. I was given the option of renting a parking space in the complexās cramped garage for $100/month more, which I agreed to, and was also told that myā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Awesome awesome place to live, at the crest of First Hill
I lived in The Decatur for 6 long years. My wife failed to convince me to buy a house for all that time because the idea of leaving this elegant neighbourhood and those sweeping city views for some hardcore mindnumbing suburbia was toxic for me.ā¦Ā See More >Decatur Apartments
