Overall good
For the most part the two years we spent at Dexter went well '10 and '11. Apartment design is great, views from some apartments and the roof are fantastic. Noise problems are minimal, considering the size of the complex. Pet friendly and only about $25/mo to legitimately have a dog here. Not bad if you've looked around Seattle. Staff are really nice too. There is a small exercise room. Nothing fancy, but at least it's available. Prices are ok. You won't find a screaming deal here. You certainly aren't in the city, but you are reasonably close to several neighborhoods. Without a car, I found no problems getting to work and back on first hill. Construction is ok, showers are cheap plastic that cracks easily, and you can hear your neighbors (but not excessively). Pet friendly can become a problem when you have irresponsible owners. Several break-ins occurred during our 2 years (vehicles), but my husband never had a problem. Parking is $100 bucks a month, which wouldn't be so bad if they monitored it. If you are the paying one, it's easy to get upset over all of the people that just sneak in. There is a ton of parking! You will never, not find a parking space. This is a good place to live. It isn't without it's problems but it really just depends what you are looking for. I would check it out.Share This Review
